Westlands Medical Centre
We want to provide you with the very best in family medicine and have an extensive team of highly experienced doctors, nurses and administrators.
Our ethos is that 'Everyone does their best, for every patient, every time.'
We are open
Due to the current COVID-19 pandemic the Practice is currently facing extremely high demand for its services. We want to keep our patients and staff safe during this time.
If you have spoken to a clinician and it has been agreed for you to come to the Practice for an appointment please go to Patient Self Check-In machine near the front door. We would ask that you wear a face covering. If you do not have a face covering, please remain outside of the building, ring the bell and a member of staff will come and assist you.
The way we deliver health care has changed. If you would like to see more information on the processes involved in accessing our services please click here.
Non-Urgent Healthcare Need
During the summer period, due to leave, the response time to your routine request may take up to 21 days. It will still be screened by a member of the team to ensure that it is safe to wait until your own GP returns.
Dr Pandya is on annual leave until 9th August and will not be able to review any requests.
COVID-19 Vaccination Programme
As you will know, the Covid vaccination programme is well underway at our vaccination site, Portchester Community Centre.
We are currently working through the patient groups, as directed by NHS England. We will be in touch with you when it is your turn. We know that many of you are keen to be vaccinated as soon as possible, but we must ask everyone to be patient – we are not holding reserve stocks of the vaccine and so cannot simply add in extra appointments.
Please do not contact us for proof of vaccination.
This can be obtained online via the NHS COVID Pass site.

In this section you will find also find self-help and support information for Covid-19, including links to local organisations for support during this time.
If you are concerned that you may have coronavirus or may have come into contact with someone who has, the NHS 111 online service has created coronavirus pages that tell you what you should do based on your particular circumstances.
